We have recently seen an increase in motorbike thefts around Stafford. Can we ask extra precautions are taken when locking up your bike securely. We would also encourage use of SBD (Secured by Design) products. These include Disc locks/ D locks, security ground anchors, all are products are tested and certified to an approved standard with the aim of reducing and preventing theft. We would also encourage owners to purchase a bike cover, this in turn makes it harder for the thief to determine the make and model of the bike |
